Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1+1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2+3/4 cups flour

 

  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix together together dry ingredients, except 3 Tbsp sugar and 1 Tbsp cinnamon.
  2. Cream together sugar and butter.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and blend well.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well.
  5. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees F.
